In celebration of World Autism Awareness Month, Maroof International Hospital’s Early Intervention Therapy Unit (EITU) concluded a successful two-day free camp at Silver Oaks, F-10 Islamabad, offering early autism diagnosis and oral healthcare services. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Dr. Ramez Alraee, Syrian Ambassador to Pakistan, and H.E. Ms. Raghda Nabeel Fauzi from the Iraqi Embassy, who praised Pakistan’s growing commitment to inclusive healthcare. The camp featured autism consultations by UK-based Prof. Dr. S. Hashim Raza, guidance from EITU Head Ms. Tehreem Khan, and dental screenings by Dr. Maira Nazim, along with discounted care vouchers. CEO Mr. Haroon Naseer emphasized the importance of early, dignified care and highlighted the scarcity of autism specialists in Pakistan, reinforcing Maroof’s dedication to bridging this gap through awareness and expert-led initiatives.
